Moong dal and Channa Dal are great ingredients to use when you are on a diet. This combination works really well especially if you are on the GM Diet.

Moong Dal Channa Dal Kosambari


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Yellow Split Moong Dal (soaked for 3 hrs and drained).
  • 1/4 cup channa Dhal (soaked for 3 hrs and drained).
  • 1 medium Cucumber, peeled and finely chopped
  • 2 medium Carrot, grated
  • 1 tbsp Coriander, chopped
  • 1 tsp. Lemon Juice(optional)
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger, grated
  • 2 Green Chillies, chopped
  • Salt to taste

Method

In a bowl take drained moong dhal & channa dhal, cucumber, carrot, coriander, ginger,green chillies, lemon juice and salt in a bowl &Serve cold.

Note: Once again, salt and lemon juice should be added before serving. Once added it will remove the juice from cucumber and carrot and you avoid the bitter taste.
